I have a 2008 QMJ157 manufactured by Bashan Aeronautical, obviously Chinese. There is a nipple on the top of the fuel tank next to the fill cap that isn't hooked to anything. It leaks out gas onto the top of the tank which runs down and makes a small mess plus I don't think it's real safe.Is this supposed to be hooked on to something?I'm new to scooters.

He is correct. It needs a hose on it. It is simply to vent the gas tank. When the tank is full, this type of tank will loose a little gas out of it. Run the hose down past the engine close to where the carb overflow hose is. That way if any comes out it will go to the ground. Not on the engine.
